Not stayed at Liverpool TLs but your best bet would be to read the reviews on Tripadvisor and see what the majoprity are saying to get an idea if a particular one suits your needs.
Liverpool central (and if you look on th right side there are other nearby hotels listed.

Liverpool central would be your nearest travel lodge, or if you can stretch to a premier travelinn then city centre or albert dock are your best choices. Plenty of other hotels/ apartments in the city centre too, which may also suit you. There is currently building work going on with a new travel inn in Hanover Street ( may be open before April), and a new travelodge on Strand street ( opening 8th March) http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/info?hotelId=514

We've stayed here as well; I'd agree it's a handy location for Liverpool if you have a car (as parking is free) and the train station is close and train services are frequent. You can also get it much cheaper that the Liverpool ones in their sales (we payed £15 a night). But I wouldn't go so far myself as to call the location 'superb'. We struggled to find anywhere to eat or drink in the evening (there is no bar cafe in the Travelodge itself), although the Morrisons next door was handy for breakfast.

Agreed about New Brigton finding somewhere to eat and drink . But as youve been there you must admit by april the new stretch of food/restaurants should be completed . Queens is good food & Tallulhas for a good late night drink but your right not much choice,
 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world
  • I've stayed at the Premier Inn at Albert Docks a few times. It's a lovely hotel and I'd definately recommend it :)
