I was speaking more in terms of trying to get money from the deposit for a new lawn.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

I guess this is what it boils down to, it doesn't matter about the right and wrong of it, the LL holds all the trump cards. I just cannot bring myself to hand over a cheque for £80 for a plastic fence that did nothing - if it had been for chemical treatment that would of been different. Its worse as the gardner that did it is a friend of hers and she told me when I went to see her after 'Operation Deer Head' that she gives whatever work she can to him in the winter to help him through. Very nice and all that, but just not at my expense
