Buy now, or wait for January sales?

Anyone know if B&Q are about to discount their prices in a January sale?
I was in B&Q today. They have big signs up about promising to beat any quote, but there are a ton of terms and conditions attached to that I'm sure.
We're looking to buy a bathroom suite and all the bits and pieces to redo the bathroom completely. Got a full-service quote, but not really convinced there's any discounting happening. And I'm looking to get the price down a bit.
Anyone know if there's a sale around the corner? I'll feel sick if I jump too soon.
Any suggestions, hints and tips, all welcome, thank you!

Of course as will everyone else and most companies started their "January sales" well before Xmas anyway. There really is no such thing these days.Anyone know if B&Q are about to discount their prices in a January sale?
Yes - don't buy your new bathroom suite from B&Q. Try an independent merchant and negotiate with him. Better kit at better prices.Any suggestions, hints and tips, all welcome, thank you!

B&Q no longer have sales, but they still have 20% off weekends, so if you are really set on their gear, watch out for those, or alternatively get someone with a tradepoint card to buy it for you.
But, as Keystone says, there really are plently of other places where you could easily get better quality for the same money or less.0 -
So very true! Those big chains sell c.r.a.p. at inflated prices & then do 'deals'. Better to go with someone who doesnt muck around with prices & who are small enough to not want to sell rubbish. i assume you want the thing to last?Yes - don't buy your new bathroom suite from B&Q.
