Best TV for bright conservatory?

Hi,
We're looking to replace an old tv in our conservatory. It's very bright in there so needs to be one with a bright room setting - if such a thing exists. What sort would be better? LED or LCD?
Screen needs to be between 22" - 26" and be suitable for x-box games.
We'd welcome any suggestions or recommendations.
Thanks.

Nearly all (branded) sets have a very bright setting these days, as used in the shop displays. Only a no-name TV might have inferior brightness.
Setting it bright puts up the electricity usage but for the screen size you mention, this should not be a big issue.
Just make sure you avoid glossy screens and try to face it so there's a wall, not a window, behind it.0 -
Thanks for your reply

If we place it so the wall is behind it, will the light from the window reflect onto it?0 -
I would go to a shop and see which TVs have reflective screens. LCDs and LEDs are both good bets probably would go towards LED purely as they are the newer technology."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

Erm what I meant was, have a wall behind the person watching the TV, so windows will not reflect directly back.0

I bought a 22ex32 Sony Bravia this year for our conservatory and find its great also the PC link up is there should you wish to use it.
If you have a larger area then go for the 24" or 26" in the same model0 -
Thanks for your replies

We had a quick look in a couple of local shops today, it looks as if you get more for your money with a larger size tv - 32" were the same or cheaper than 26". Don't think we'll have room for that though
IS it worth paying more a for a brand?0 -
