Which Houseplants?

I was given an orchid as a gift 18 months ago (from M&S or somewhere like that). I stuck it on the kitchen windowsill and expected it to last a couple of weeks, but it's still going strong and covered in beautiful blooms. The only care it's given is a cup of tap water chucked in when I remember - about every few weeks. Amazingly hardy. I don't know if I've just been lucky.0

No, you've not been lucky, that's exactly the care they need. They are the easiest, and most beautiful of plants.0
