If you have purchased a kindle instore recently you have probably received a voucher for £3 off kindle accessories, and like me you probably headed to the Kindle display which houses all nice new Kindle 4's and below it cases.
Don't do what I did and stupidly assume that the cases on display with the Kindle's and labelled as 'Kindle Cases' actually fit.....double check the labels as a good many of them (The M Edge for example) will fit Kindle 3 only and NOT the smaller Kindle 4.
Trip to Tesco for a refund tomorrow

But that is your own error, not a problem with Tesco. There are different sorts of Kindle so you obviously need to check that you're buying the correct case?0

Tesco are not selling Kindle 3, they are promoting (heavily in my local store) Kindle 4 and Kindle 4 accessories. These are labelled 'Kindle 4 Accessories' only they are not Kindle 4 accessories they are Kindle 3 accessories.
Had Tesco been selling both models then obviously it would be natural to look more closely, but as they were promoting one model it seems a little unlikely that you would check the cases included in that promotion actually fit.
It would be akin to a PS3 promotion selling PS2 games as part of it.0 -

Ahhhh I see! Didn't realise they weren't selling both models. Bit sneaky of them really isn't it!0 -

Incredibly, though with the benefit of hindsight I now realise the M Edge case I'd bought was a good £12 cheaper that anywhere else, obviously because its the old model.
The case itself was covered in a plastic wrap type material and only when taking that off can you see the words 'For Kindle 3'. Annoying but there you go.
All sorted anyway, refund obtained and an m edge case and light purchased from eBay instead.0
