hello we have a bosch washing machine approx 5 years old. today a noise we had never heard before started. It became more noticeable during spin but on messing round with it can hear a grinding/rubbing sound from the top left hand side of the drum when I spin the drum by hand. Watch this video and you'll have an idea of what is involved in changing the bearings in a Bosch washing machine:

Note, a Bosch engineer on another forum doesn't recommend you use the permanent sealant on the new seal incase you need to take the outer drum apart in the future.
