Do you mean the complete kibble dry dog food? I've tried this for my dogs and ended up throwing most of it out. My dogs would eat most things...but not this. They both just totally refused it.

Wouldn't recommend that at all. My dogs are totally unfussy but wouldn't touch it.

I used to have them on Hill's Science Plan but they had terrible stools, really liquid much of the time. I now have them on CSJK9 dry complete food, they love it and it's sorted out the poo problem, and works out at £30 for 2 15kg sacks including delivery.

Might be worth your while trying that.

Cheaper foods are usually false economy as you have to feed double, or more, as much as a decent quality food. And as a result you end up scooping double the amount of poo too! From what I can find online about its ingredients, it's full of much more cereal and veg than actual meat. For dog food on a budget, I would recommend something like the CSJ range.

You have to order this online unless you have a nearby stockist. But have a look at the ingredients, it's a good quality food. If you look at the website, you can request samples, so at least that way you will know in advance of buying whether your dog will like it.

my OH works in Lidl and isnt fussy what he feeds the dogs but even he cringes at the lidl dog food!

I feed skinners duck and rice, £22 a 15kg bag and that lasts me about 3 weeks for 4 dogs (3 huskies and a staff), i can only feed hypoallergenic foods as one of my sibes is allergic to wheat/corn etc
I'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:
