A4/foolscap filing cabinet

I took ages looking around for a filing cabinet and eventually plumped for the cheapest self assembly one I could find of the size I needed. I knew I wanted to be able to put cardboard folders into it rather than loose sheets of paper so carefully looked for one that said A4/foolscap filing in the description so assumed it would fit folders. What I didn't do though is check the measurements.
At long last, having got a few days off work I've made the thing, only to find it's too small for folders. Why would anyone want such a thing? I bought it to use for work I do for a charity and had to pay for it myself and am absolutely devastated, I haven't made such a bad purchase in years. I can't afford to take the loss so need to find a way to make up the money.
I can't imagine being able to sell it as why would anyone else want one or be as stupid as me - apart from which it weighs a ton and I've had to build it upstairs in situ so will have to dismantle it. It's wooden (well, wood effect but looks nice) but useless. The company has a 14 day return policy and this arrived over a month ago so doubt they'd take it back, anyway, I've built it now so it won't happen. I also bought the suspension files at the same time (A4 size) so of course they don't fit either.
Rant over, I'm so angry with myself.!!! Does anyone want a 4 drawer filing cabinet?

If it is any help, second-hand 4-drawer real filing cabinets (which absolutely do work with A4 paper!) are about £40-odd0
