Has anyone been to one of these parks via train/bus? I just need to know how simple it is to get to the parks via a bus. I assume they will be simple enough but local bus maps don't mention the best stop etc.
Thanks

Burnham you want the South Esplanade. If you get to the sea front by Morrisons you're in walking distance but think the bus actually goes to the camp.
I've walked to Haven Weymouth from the sea front about 3 miles, caught the bus back so I know it drops you off outside the camp from the main Weymouth bus station0 -
For Haven Burnham-on-Sea you stop at Highbridge & Burnham Railway Station.
Haven is only 3 miles away but too far with cases/kids etc.
You can get Bus 112 from Highbridge & Burnham heading toward Weston-super-Mare.
OR
walk out of the station and turn left past the Coopers Arms Pub (not over railway bridge).
walk to roundabout (2 min walk)
turn right and go past cash and carry (1 min walk)
cross over and get bus 112 (to WsM) or 21 (to Burnham)
OR
Taxi will cost roughly £7 each way.0 -
I know at Haven Littlesea the local bus goes right onto the park

Just to confirm what Patty said above the bus does go right into the park, funny in 11 years of having a caravan at the park we have never taken the bus..The train station is about 3 miles away from the park.0
