Just got last quarter's (NPower) bill, my v. small, 1 bed flat is all electric (heating, cooking, lights!).
Anyway it's £150! Which seems pretty high. In the past I've always had gas central heating & it's generally much lower.
Any thoughts, comments, queries?

"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

Hiya
I am no expert however electric is more expensive than gas to heat your home. Not sure exactly what the difference is, someone with more knowledge than me will be around shortly.
In the meantime, have you read all the threads on the boards for suggestions of how to cut your consumption? Also try Uswitch to check whether your supplier is the cheapest for you.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
In my last house we were all electric, including storage heaters. It was a small 2 bedroomed house. For our winter quarterly bills we were often over £300. And this was years ago - we moved out in 1994.0

Thats only £50 per month for all your power usage... I don't think thats over the top expensive.... it will be a lot less in the summer months.....Don't forget you also had an electric bill on top of the gas bill.....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
