Alternatives to an iMac

I really fancy an iMac for the kitchen. To use it for tv, play music and a computer. I love apple products but know I am paying a premium for them. Is there an alternative which does a similar kind of job for less money? I always feel like I'm being conned when I go into currys etc...

There is a wide range of all-in-ones available now on the market from various manufacturers such as Lenovo, Sony, HP etc and some can be had at almost half the cost of the iMac and will do the same job.

The Lenovo B series is very nice and stylish, looks better in the flesh than pics on the internet.
