Hi,
I'm due to sell my car next week and I'm looking into leasing a car instead of buying one out right. I would be taking any lease through my company so I have to consider all the company/personal tax implications, cash flow etc.
Before I commit to a lease deal I still need a car so I am considering renting one for 3 months, whilst I make an informed decision. Does anyone have any experience of doing this, or can recommend any good long time rental companies?
I've looked up Apex and a couple of others. I'm looking at getting something like a Mondeo estate or similar for now. Apex quote circa £500 per month (based on the appropriate mileage pcm). You still have to insure the car yourself (fully comp).
Would appreciate people's views.
Thanks.

Best thing would be to buy something with a long MOT and cross your fingers. Short leases are relatively expensive but should be less than car hire.
I have used these guys in the past and they were fair at hand back (not like MB finance). Just ensure you check the care thoroughly gefore accepting it (I am slightly assuming short leases will be on previously leased cars) and get any dings fixed before hand back. Also factor in a good valet at the end.
I reckon a fair bit of leg work shoul come up trumps.

Ling cars might also be able to do something and the MIL gets her car from them.0
