This site is established to raise funds towards creating a permanent memorial to Cadet Sergeant Major Sheldon Steel who was killed in action on the 27th November 2011 while serving with 5th Battalion The Rifles.
We as a Detachment intend to create a permanent memorial celebrating his life within the grounds of Thornbury Barracks where he completed his ACF service.
The ACF is a registered charity in the UK.
