Swap Sites

Is this the best place to post about ideas for good swapping sites? I have looked and can't find another thread title. Looking for something like freecycle, but not strictly green or ethical as I need a few things in return for my unwanted/outgrown items. I have heard of one called Swapz - any reviews please? Thx

Has anyone used Netcycler.com? Website looks quite professional although the stuff on there looks a bit too new and posh for me compared to Freecycle - not sure anyone would want my bits! (have had things like rubble, underlay etc collected
successfully on Freecycle!)0 -
I've never used a swap site and I haven't heard of the ones you mention at all, sorry.
I sell the stuff I don't want and if it doesn't sell I either freegle it or take it to a charity shop.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Our Freecycle has a Cafe, where you can post to swap items, yours may have something similar.0

Swapz seems to be full of adverts that say will swap XYZ for CASH which is breaking the site rules but there does seem to be loads of people doing it. There's also a wantz section although the only ad I saw was for an iphone. Wanting to swap for impossible things but willing to take cash seems to be the way round the site restrictions.
Might be a useful as a low level Ebay alternative for some people, could be useful for collector's items dealers for instance. Very similar if not the same categories as Ebay.0 -
Thanks for that, might actually be quite useful for me as I have never had any luck selling on ebay - would now rather swap or take lower amount just for speedier result. Cant get on with waiting a week/weeks!0
