I insured my sons car with him as the main driver. He only recently passed his test and I did this to save him money. Unfortunately, after 1 month, he crashed his car. The insurance company wrote the car off and are now demanding £1038.+ My son was paying the policy through his bank account and only 1 months premium had been paid. Is he liable to pay for the other 11months premiums given that the insurance company cancelled his policy????

Full premium is payable when a claim is made.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

Hi, as above, you buy a years insurance whether you pay it in one lump sum or monthly credit instalments, if you have a crash during the policy the full amount is still payable however they usually deduct the balance outstanding from the settlement figure.
In your case, if the car was worth less than £1038 then after any settlement figure you would still owe them.0
