Borrowing 5k witha ccj
Where can I borrow around £5k from with 1 satisfied CCJ.
But other than that my credit history is pretty good as I make all my payments on time. i.e mobile contracts for 2 years, a credit card for 1 and a half years.
Wheres the best places to be looking. What are are the going rates?
I have no other loans or mortgage. ( I am a house owner too)

5k with a CCJ? If you do find a company mad enough to lend you that amount you'll be hocking you're whole future.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Honest answer from me is I don't know.
However, you're not going to know unless you try.
I would suggest you look at the comparison sites and aim high for your first application. When I say high I mean the one offering the lowest interest rate.
If you get knocked backon their best rate, they may offer you a mid range rate or even a sub-prime rate. Bear these in mind and keep an eye on the comparison sites. Don't make more than 3 applications or if you do, wait 3-6 months before making another.
Hope that helps.

Your credit history is not 'pretty good' with a CCJ, satisfied or otherwise. The most important info is your income?0 -

What do you need a loan for? Your CCJ will affect you until it is removed after 6 years. You may have better luck trying for a 0% purchase card i.e. the creation mastercard and they sometimes give very good limits. Though it depends how they view your CCJ. You will not get a prime loan.0

Its not going to happen..5k earning 17k and a ccj will send most lenders running for the hills..the others will want over 40% apr..Not what you want to hear but stay away from the sharks..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
