strange gift requests on wedding list

hi all have you got or seen any odd/hilarious items on a wedding list?
friend of mine is getting married to a bridezilla and on the list, along with various royal doulton figures of couples (fair enough if she collects them, but she doesnt
) and a candle snuffer- i didnt even know what one was until my fiancee told me :rotfl:
i'm seriously considering giving them something off list (which they would actually find useful) but having seen the list its very snooty and expensive taste (just like her)
what have you seen/put on your list?

Not really funny but my OHs grandma was disgusted when her friends grandaughter invited her to her wedding and then proceeded to give her a copy of the gift list which contained a washing machine, dishwasher and tumble drier
needless to say, we won't be putting those items on ours!
We are having a small gift list, mainly for older family members who would see it as the right way to purchase a gift. We have said we don't really want anything, just them to come to our wedding, but we keep getting asked so will set up a little one. Might also set up a Walt Disney honeymoon one too as we are off there after the wedding!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14

I have a candle snuffer and it's very useful, far better than blowing out candles.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

We explained included a poem in our card explaining that although we weren't expecting gifts from anyone we would appreciate money to contribute towards activities on our honeymoon & a new TV, but we also had a gift list with https://www.notonthehighstreet.com which had some quirky items on for those people who prefer to buy gifts
We had all sorts on it, including this sign...

The reason we included what we did, was that they were all items that we'd love for our home but couldn't justify currently buying!0 -
A pair of goats but it was the wedding of a vet and a farmer!0

I haven't seen them on any wedding list but I used to work with 2 people who both owned grape scissors and apparently they can be bought in specialist shops "to snip grapes off so you don't end up with lots of horrid stalks lying in the fruitbowl". My uncultured response was "!!!!!!!"If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

We weren;t going to have a gift list but so many people have asked about what to get us we've set on up with John Lewis. We're going to put things on like towel, a crockery set etc so there are small value items for people to buy.
One of my closest friends asked if there was anything 'special' she could get us as we've asked for a print of a Jack Vettriano painting.
It would never occur to me to put high value items on a gift list its so presumptious!Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0
