Just been on the phone to Atlantic as I got a mailshot asking for my meter readings.

I am on the on-line dual fuel no standing charge package and have been for about 14 months. I had my rebates last month as I was with them for 12 months.

I submitted my readings electronically on 1/1/07 when the prices went up to ensure my readings were correct at the point of the price increase. They didn't have them on file so I have just given them my meter readings.

Bearing in mind it is now February 6th and I have used Gas since their price increases, they agreed to use the old rates for Gas since my last bill in October 2006.

(My Electric bill was 29/12 so no worries over 2 days !)

Sometimes we moan, but we don't thank people when something is done well.

I told the man on the phone he had been very helpful and Atlantic have been very good to deal with over the last 14 months.

    Dont be fooled. I thought well of them when I forst joined but they have messed up somewhere with my Electricity estimates and overcharged me massivley. I was paying £23 a month and now they tell me it should be £90. They only return my emails when they feel like it and don't always ring me back. I believe they are using delay tactics so they don't have to deal with this issue.

    Sorry to spoil the party but I thought I should warn you. They will get it back off you another way.

    Well phone them with the correct readings. It's a simple procedure.

    I do and they never get back to me and no, I won't shut up. Its here we are supposed to voice our opinions if we are not getting the service were deserve.

    So have you provided them with current readings recently using their meterline?

    When you do you will get an up to date invoice showing the state of your account including your current debt.

    You were happy when you knew that you weren't paying enough to cover your usage but now you have to pay for what you have used - simple!

    Stick to your original thread and don't jump onto every other thread with your ranting or go to the rant board.

  • I too have never had a problem with Atlantic - they have always given me great service - I also received a letter from them yesterday informing me that my unit prices that they are charging are now being reduced...so Well Done Atlantic!!!!
