Out of curiosity. Why do you need to change 6 radiators?
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Good question.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

The OP's post showed they nothing at all about what was being done.

Some of us could have been concerned that they were being done over.

    Absolutely spot on.

and on that note I would have wondered if some of the rads couldn't have been re-located.

But if 10 yrs old or more then its not worth it.

A big mistake i made a few years back when changing the radiator in one of the bedrooms, i'd drained it and thought it was empty but when we tilted it to slide down the stairs, a load of sludge came out, we had pretty new pale carpet that now had a black stripe down it. So the tip is always carry radiators upside down.
