Indeed the standard info about parking charge notices issued by any private company is ignore them, they will try to scare you with threatening letters about ccj's and removal of goods etc but they are just a modern day !!!!!! Turpin scam artists.
I have three rounds of junk from parking eye all duly ignored and a single round from euro car parks because our vehicle was on double yellow lines outside the local A&E after rushing our daughter there, which is all private land "managed" by these tricksters.
Don't take them seriously, ignore is the big word on here.

Either pay up or listen to the advice on here... know which I would do [and it's not 'pay up].

If you pay up, they will come back asking for more.

OPC won't do court for a while again, but make sure you don't give them more reasons to be the one in a blue moon which they will take to court, whereas the damages are zero, but the judge might see things differently if there is quite a few invoices.

What type of car-park is it anyhow?

You are right they can sue you !
    For the actual losses.
in this case it was a free car park so they lost nothing.
they can sue you for nothing x 11
    which is
    Nothing

You can do nothing, you should not have paid. At least it was only £20 and not something like £200

If you have paid up then there is little you can do. You have been scammed by them and they have your cash now. Just remember that should an attempt to scam you happens again to follow the advice given here.

Can I just say that if they are still chasing you for the rest, to make sure you have your mail re-directed, parking companies have been known to take people to the small claims when they know they can win when mail is returned.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
