BT Starting to really get me down

Up until a couple of weeks ago i was an extremely satisfied BT customer. Phone and BT all working great.
Then i decided to move house. The moving day was December 16th.
I filled out the moving home form on the website and left it safely in BT's hands. I phoned two days before the moving date, and BT had no knowledge of my move whatsoever.
Patiently i allowed them to create an order for phone and broadband.
I telephoned the next day to find that the order had been cancelled.
Patiently i allowed them to create another order for phone and broadband. Everything was going to be working on the 30th December apparently.
I checked my order status today just out of boredom, and guess what. No such order exists.
Does anyone know where i can speak to someone at BT, who can actually make things happen?

No. You can speak to useless people in this country or to even more useless people in India. They can all make things happen which are generally to your disadvantage. But to a man every single one of them is completely powerless to render any assistance which will resolve your problem.twisterfreak wrote: »... However every single one of them can extend your contract without your say so.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Call Customer Options, always a good place to start. Then have another word with the home movers team.0

Sorry to hear about the problems you have had with your home move order. I would like to take a look at this for you. Please could you send me in your details using the link found in my profile?
Thanks

I had a call from BT today who say the reason my orders were being cancelled is that they were trying to set them up at the wrong address. I live at 17, BT was trying to set it all up for 27.
I have had to create a brand new account, and still won't get telephone and broadband until the 26th January.
I have also lost my old telephone number by the looks of it, which is a real pain.
The rep took great pleasure in telling me that if i attempted to get service with another ISP it would take even longer as they use BT Engineers.
Painful experience.....:mad:0
