    Where has today gone?

We've managed a fair bit of decluttering, and sorted out quite a lot to go to the charity shop. I have some old textbooks and some DVDs to sell for now, but that is about it.

Thought that would be about it and no money making, but I managed to paste a review to dy, write a new one for C, and do 3 x viva surveys, so I am pleased with that.

Annie the only way is to send people a message saying you have changed it and asking really nicely if they could look at it again, and rerate if they think it is worth it. Most people will usually do it, but my theory is if you are going to ask a favour, make sure you rate something of their's first. ;) Makes it harder for them to not help.

OK, daft question from me. Do Swag codes appear during the weekend or is it weekdays only? Thanks for any info :D.

Annie - also when you edit it, click that you want it first on the list - that way any people popping by will see that one first, and rate it anyway. I'm glad you're sticking with it, despite a rough start. You'll get there hun. :)

Evening everyone - I've done two Viva today, and cross posted one review to Chow. I can redeem for £20 Amazon now, before my points expire. Phew. I also had a £10 VO voucher and a £10 S&S voucher in the post and I've put two duplicate Christmas presents on Ebay. Will try and do more tomorrow.

How did everyone else's day go? Hopefully you've all had a great day. :)

  • Evening all.13 things on ebay, lots more to do later (probably tomorrow!) done 2 viva, still waiting for payment to go in end of the month, it takes FOREVER on there now :( bring back the £10 payout! And not much else done apart from rating today. I suggested products on DY when they changed the catagories and none have been accepted yet grrr! Still suggested some more, but I'm rating and rating and no-one has anything to rate back on. I just can't be bothered to write anything after the december push

    Evening all,

Congrats Nicky so glad everything went well for you, how big was he??

Feeling a little low at the minute feels like no matter how much myself and the oh do we never have any spare money although oh doesn't help as he just spends on nothing like today he has paid to wash two cars and bought himself and my eldest lunch out, annoys the life out of me as we have an outside tap and a hosepipe and he could have had lunch before he went out grrrrr.

I work in the residential part of a care home but we have been told that we are getting nursing patients from tuesday, I didn't go into the job to do nursing and we struggle to get everything done on a late shift as it is nevermind with more residents, they are getting a nurse in as we have to have one on duty at all times and saying that she will have to do the care part of the job too but can't see that being very likely. Just looked at jobs on internet but theres nothing.

Managed to do a few rates and copy a review to dy but going to bed now feeling really tired and at work again tomorrow.

Hope you are all well xx

    Good morning everyone.
I am very pleased to tell you that my baby boy Oliver was born on the 5th January :D. A day earlier than planned and not by c-section. After going 9 days overdue he decided to sort things out himself. I started with contractions on Wednesday night and had them all Thursday but I didn't think it was the real thing as they didn't feel strong or regular enough! At 7pm my husband finally convinced me to phone the labour ward who said for me to go in to be checked. Then things seemed to speed right up! I got to the hospital and Oliver was born about 50 minutes later, natural birth - no time for anything else! I have another tear but nothing like last time. I'm really pleased with how everything happened.

Massive congratuations, glad everything went ok.
You take care, big ug for Oliver xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Congratulations Nickybo and welcome to little Oliver

Got a YG today, done my SB and now browsing DY to see what I can review!

  • Congrats Nicky! What a lovely name and glad to hear you had a great natural birth! Hope you enjoy some well deserved time with your new family and look forward to hearing more from you when things have settled and you're in a routine. Big hugs xxx

Emma, know whatcha mean there. I worked my butt off last year to pay for Christmas, our holiday, basically everything that wasn't food or bills and hubby wasted a fair amount of money on alcohol, or junk food. He was going on about wanting sky at one point, helloooo stop wasting money and start bring some more in and we will think about it. It's a little frustrating that in his spare time he plays computer games, whilst I do my uni work, money making and entering comps, makes me wonder why I bother sometimes when it's a one way thing. Then he can't figure out why I am stressed lol.

I figure once we move I will take a course and start up a business from home to help bring some more money in and work around my daughters nursery hours, just can't see another way around it. If I don't do it no one else will.

We decided to drive past the new house today, to find a bunch of kids talking at the door. We thought the property was vacant, or so we were led to believe so it may be a few more weeks wait. Didn't get a good look out of the car window as we didn't want to let on we were the new owners, but there is a badly broken fence out the front which I am guessing we will need to budget to fix too. Didn't realise properly moving house would be such a headache. Kinda hoping we dont move until the end of February now as my next orders are due by then and I really don't want to have to cancel anything, can't exactly redirect post via courier lol.

I have managed £4 on viva, and some surveys here and there, have £10 to cash out on topcashback but I'm in no rush, still deciding what to cash out my £40 S&S on, I guess somewhere who does nice but cheap furniture would be ideal. Just about to submit S&S as I will forget tomorrow and start listing on ebay tomorrow. Cashed out on SB too, only £5 amazon but it all helps.

Really need some quick earners but I am drawing a blank.

Well done on the redeems Savvy. Is it a private let, or housing association or something? Wouldn't they fix the fence before you move in, if you told them?

No fast earner ideas - sorry hun. I tried a new site for bingo earlier - Deposit £10, and get £25 cashback. Trouble is, I didn't win a sausage, still I'm £15 up. :)
