nickybo oh i was hoping for baby news when i saw your name
i hope baby comes soon , tomorrow would be nice he/she can share my birthday lol
  • Morning everyone - just.

Horrible horrible day here. Got soaked on the school run, as did both kids. Not nice at all.

I'm not doing well with surveys. Screened out the cereal one, so when it asks how many surveys you have done in the last month, then don't say 5+.

Managed a 40p crowdology one which made me feel a bit stupid. I could barely answer any of the general knowledge questions. Oh well.

Nicky, I am getting about 80 sb's a day by searching, watching sb tv (bit boring, so just click back every so often to move it on). Watching the vid on the supersonic bit and that's it. I have 3 referral's but nothing has come of that. Think that's where you can make quite good points cause you benefit from there searches up to the 1st 1000sb.

Sorry you are feeling rubbish, it won't be too long now, will be keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Thanks Chel, yes all settled down now we are back into the old routine. I didn't even realise we had much of a routine but she is so much happier without all the visitors popping in all the time. She has developed a nasty sore under her arm though whch is worrying me a bit, looks like nappy rash but in her arm pit, is that common? Have been bathing it with cool boiled water and letting the air get to it. This morning I put sudocream on it. we are at dr tomorrow for her jabs so will ask them, it doesn't seem to bother her though but it does look angry.

Hope you and your family are well x
  • boat girl my daughter had the same she also had it in the creases in her neck, was from getting hot or from dribble under her chin
was told to put talc powder on it as it dries it up
    it worked :D
glad she's settled down now :D hope the jabs are ok tomorrow too

It's sounds like excema Boat Girl - both my girls had that when they were little. You can use junior oilatum, it really helps, and E45 cream.

Chel - DD1 at placement at a local school Thurs and Friday, and all next week. She lives at home so I can't get rid of her for a rest. She causes more work than the little 'un. Were those the American Cups from Next? I bought them the week before Christmas. :)

Happy birthday for tomorrow - because I have a brain like a sieve and I'm bound to forget.

I've just written on review for Chow - New suggestion too so that's good and had another one added - just have to write it now. It's for my new do-nut maker so I might be baking too. :D

love him to bits but he brings so much stuff home with him !

i got cheap plastic cups from ebay , forgot about the next ones they were lovely , and i didn't see them in the sale just the spoons

oh i will be interested in how good the do-nut maker is i very nearly bought one before christmas , if it makes them like the ring ones you get at the fair i'd be eating them everyday lol
thank you for the birthday wishes :D
  • i completed the cereal survey so tvym hun for sending it all to us :beer:xxxx

I didnt think things could get much worse but for the last few weeks things have been getting out of hand with my team leader. Refuses to do lates herself and has 3 of us that do the ALL the time I love my job so normally sit quiet but last night she rang me on my day off at 10 for a shift that lasts untill 3 in the morning:( I know I sit at home but thats not the point). Normally i would tell her where to go but last few times I refused to work on my day off hours suddenly dissapear on my next rota so had to do it. I have sent a big massive email to our higher boss asking them if they can look into why her daughter and best friend get the best hours no lates etc just hoping he understands rather than taking her side. Im sure if he takes the time to look he will see the problem just a bit  atm.

My DS2 gets that too really bad. I just try my best to make sure we dry it properly, and not let it get too inflamed. The nappy cream will help it, or I also put on him some doublebase cream from the Drs which is a good moisturiser which stops it getting sore and dry in the first place.

chel I haven't got my new laptop yet. It is being delivered sometime this week hopefully. It is toshiba compaq from pc world. Can't wait till it gets here to give it a try.
