Just made my way through Elysia's list - wow. I'm a member of a whole lot more than I thought I was! Can anyone offer me a referral to any of the sites below? Thanks in advance!

If anyone has an iphone, there is an app available called NPolls - they are US based but sent very regular surveys (quick 6/7 question types) and they pay out at $10. I've had one lot of payment and I'm back up at $7 again after a few weeks. Only issue is waiting for paypal to have a decent £/$ exchange rate!

Can I also add autoinsight to the list? It's a survey site for car owners and pays out in amazon vouchers - I get about £10 every quarter. No referral.

  • Hi everyone, sorry I haven't kept up, been a little snowed under with things at the moment :(

Just did the cereal one, that was lot's of fun and nowhere near as busy as my local mr t lol. Thanks again karohner :)

Good news today, got a week exension for my coursework thankfully I'm getting there with it but eugh, can't wait for this module to be done. Other good news is I have sorted a new cooker, all of dd's clothes for the next year and have enough left to get the car fixed from the cheque I had so I am very chuffed. It's a huge weight off my mind as it's money I don't have to find elsewhere now.

Going to do a bit of viva if there is anything on there before hitting the hay. Is tomorrow a bank holiday too? I just can't work it out this year, I thought Friday was a bank holiday in lieu as postie never arrived but i think I was wrong.

Hope all missbehaving computers and washing machines hold on for a little longer :)

  • Hi all,
Hope that the money maing is heading in the right direction for everyone and for those that have had washing machine, laptop, car troubles, fingers crossed for cheap as possible repqir or replacement.

Legendmum- I am with Sony too and haven't had points credited for last month or for teh couple I did this month to see if it was back up and running. Hope they sort t soon, there are a lot of disgruntked sony followers there! What I did want to ask you is how did you get £15 voucher? I always just do my 50 points - what else should I be doing?

Karonher - you have probably gone to bed by now but I have pm'd you for teh survey too if you wouldn't mind when you get a moment.

It is my birthday today (well asctually yesterday now). So we have been with teh kids to The Thinktank in Brum - fab day woulkd highly recommend it. My eldest is nearly 5 and youngest nearly 2 and they both loved it! So not much of a money saving day today but hey, eldest back to school soon and got to make the most of the days they have off. Did manage to get a kids eat free voucher for pizza hut though so that saved abit and also kids only drink water and had their water bottles in their bag so hubby ordered a refilable pepsi and I had the kids pepsi that came with their meal, so saved on paying for an extra drink - lol!

The surveys and reviews are going ok, managed to qualify for a few and happily plodding along with chow, now have about 12 pound in there, I have emailed them with teh details of my reviews for the £7 bonus but not heard anything. Can someone just let me know if there is anything specific I should have put in teh email and how long they take to get back with crediting account please.

I suppose it should really be bedtime now, so happy new year everyone and hope 2012 proves to be a good one for you all.

There is nothing else you should be doing on Sony. There are 3 people in Legendmum family with Sony a/cs (her, OH & Mum). Which means Legendmum gets 3 x £5 vouchers per month.

Hi could u get the link for the cereal survey too please.
It must be a day for washers - ours packed up this afternoon too, blew all the electrics downstairs as well! We do have the extended warranty on it so I will bd calling them first thing, guesses for how long it takes to send an engineer, my best guess is Friday!!!
Back at work tomorrow, kids not back at school till next week :-(
I have managed to list a few bits on eBay and fb today, sorted out my wardrobe, and found a receipt for a gift Id bought my bro and his oh ( they split just before Xmas) so I'm hoping mr t will give me my money back. If so that's a hefty addition to the 2012 fund!

Pmd you the link - bad news about the washer x

  • Hi Everyone

Have just finished reading through posts up to now, seems like I've got a lot of signing up to do! So many times I have started out the year full of good intentions but always dropped off with the surveys. This year I am determined to keep going and I think this is just the place to get the motivation from.

Kayandy, shopandscan seems to be quite hard to get into now unless you fit their demographic. Try the link below and fill out the form, you might get lucky. Edited to say - Sorry, I haven't logged in to MSE for so long it's classing me as a new member now and won't let me post links. If you put 3 w's in front of volunteer4panels with dot com after, into address bar it should get you there.

One of my DD has been trying to get accepted for about 18 mths with no luck. I have been a member of S&S for years, long before they had so many members. Have just ordered my first £10 of the year in Argos vouchers, that makes £60 in total towards Birthdays and Christmas. Yes, you do click all purchases but it doesn't matter whether you upload 1 or 100 barcodes, you still get the points as long as you do remember to upload them. Check out Shop&Scan website for all the info.

I was a member of Lightspeed and did really well but it was ages ago. I see it's changed names now. Think I need to see if I can find any old log in details. The only saving that I think I might have problems with is Ebay. I have bought so much from there in the past but have never sold. Will read through the posts again for tips on this! Am trying not to buy any toiletries or cleaning products for at least all of January, have so much.

Didn't make it out to sales but found some gift bags in Sains. for 74p instead of £2.49. Tissue paper 25p & wrapping paper 64p (70% off). Going onto town tomorrow but not expecting much!

Sorry to waffle so much, I've been lurking for ages, next time won't have so much to say!

Thank you to all for helpful tips,

    Granny

    Morning all

I need to go out to the post office this morning, I am meeting my SIL up the town, I need to take back some jeans too to New Look as they are too small. They were in the sale so I will have to swap them for something else. The weather is bad here so not looking forward to the walk up. I was hoping OH would be coming up in the car but he said last night he wont be getting up until about 11 and wont go up town until this afternoon.
