    Belated Happy Birthday mum2one :j

I've been gardening all morning, done a MS this afternoon, and am going out for food tonight with a voucher I got for Christmas :D
  • Belated birthday wishes from me, too, mum2one, and good to see you back Elysia. I've been AWOL myself a bit this week, but hopefully back with it this week.

Oooh lovely challenges! I'm so up for them, especially the ebay one. I sold some maternity clothes this weekend and made £40 so very happy :D. I've got loads more to list too so I must get it done before the postage increases.

That Ebay tip is great to know Skiergirl. I always end up in a mad rush trying to get them all on so I'll try this method.

I just had a Looney survey for 60,000 points  I had my fingers crossed I'd qualify but I didn't, that would have been a nice way to start the morning.

Nicky, I had that one too and didnt qualify xx

I have done the SB promo now every day so hoping that finished today. Its been a good challenge to get all the points and have claimed 4 vouchers throughout it all but will be glad to give it a rest and get back to normal again.

Not sure what of the challenge I will do yet, probably stick to the £2.50 a day one for now but I havent started it yet as been out doing the garden all day every day. Weather is supposed to turn for the worse tomorrow but I have a lot of sewing to catch up on first. I will be out all day Thursday too and most of Friday and then Saturday is my birthday and we will be out all day again.

Saying that I claimed a voucher from SB yesterday so I will make that my £2.50 for yesterday and today combined. I have done a lot of surveys too so must have got there some how xx

Rufus - it sounds like you won't have time for any money making this week. You've done very well though - especially with swag. I only managed to do three out of the 14 days. :( Have you anything special planned for Friday? We're going to a 40th birthday party.

Nicky - well done on the ebay sales. Great result there. £40 to add to the totals. Woohoo. I didn't qualify for that survey either - it would have been nice to finish it, wouldn't it? :)

Skier Girl - thanks for the tip. I'll make sure I'll do that next time. It usually takes me all day to list ten or so items, so you've done me a huge favour. :D

Well Preserved - How are you hun? I hope the money making is going well. Remember slow and steady wins the race ;)

I managed to do my £2.50 yesterday, but I'm a bit short today so I'm on the hunt for another survey before bedtime. :)

Oh just remembered - Claireylulu messaged me today to say she's well, but like many of us, is struggling with the money making lately as she has lots to concentrate on at home. She should be more settled in a couple of months and will join us again then, all being well. It's good news she's ok, and it was lovely of her to remember us. :)

    Xmas Saver!
For once we have had a trouble free day, even managed lunch at Wetherspoons without complaining much to Miss Hoodies disappointment!!

She had her eyes tested and needs new glasses, its every 6 months a growth spurt, but she got a brilliant as shes under 16 she gets a NHS voucher, so shes choosen a pair of purple glasses, metallic purple frame at front, and the arms have a ripple effect, special offer free pair of prescription sunglasses. Got £170 worth of glasses for £0.00

My eye test went ok, - they hadn't got any contact lenses in my strength, - the opticain was really nice, he told me i'd got astigma on my eye, and if I was going to wear contact lenses all the time that I would need toric ones (dearer!! but they correct the stigma0, but as its once a week, blue moon job, then the normal lenses be suitable. Most opticians would have sold the dearer ones.

Dad said we'll can at McD's on way home - I piped we're not half way the list places needed to go, so he said we're near Wetherspoons go for dinner! You could have knocked me down with a feather. Dinner was lush and mse as he wouldn't let me pay anything towards it.

Did I classic (bit naughty!!), split the shops again, I said I want one of those percy pigs from m+s, he said i'll go there, you go to Body Shop, u know what you want!

    Bargain wasn't the word.
hemp hand butter, 3 x tea tress facials cleaners etc, banana shampoo (it is 10/10. my treat), deordant, - came to £30.00. - saved £5 as bday gift from body shop card, 3 4 2 skincare, half price hand butter - £13.50. my 1st trat since end of December.

He went to m+s. he was so pround he found the pig without asking for help!, then tells me he paid £6 for it. If I wan't sat down I'd have fainted, its easter prezzie off Bailey!. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    April 2012 Challenge

    1. Ebay Let's go ebay crazy and beat the postal increases. People might be put off by the higher charges if we leave it till next month so let's have a spring clean and clear the clutter NOW.

Got a few things I can list but gonna try them on fb too so mine will be a here and there challenge.

    2. Reviews. Challenge yourself to write a certain number of reviews. We don't know what the promotions are until tomorrow, but try and aim for quality (E's and crowns) and not quantity. That way we don't burn ourselves out, but will still earn as much for our efforts. :)
Don't do reviews so going to do this as my bingo review site instead (Oh I guess I do reviews lol)

    3. Survey Challenge I think most of us have lost the mojo for surveys this month. Let's get back into it with a £2.50 a day challenge. If by the evening you haven't earned your £2.50 you need to put a £1 in your Christmas savings pot (or put £1 away to buy a savings stamp for Asda or whatever).

Up for this as it was great last time.

    4. Get your referral links out there! Post them on the referrers board/Facebook/make a blog - anything where people can see them and use them. It's easy money that takes very little time and effort to earn so get to it!!! :)

Brilliant challenges Elysia kick up the bum is happily taken!!

    Evening everyone

Elysia. On Friday we are going up to London in the afternoon to pick up my sister plus four large bags of fabric I bought off Ebay lol. It was a local pickup only job and it was placed in North London which is where my sisters both live so my BIL went and picked them up for me. Said there was so much there he had trouble fitting it in his car. Was 4 large black bags full (might have been 5 lol, cant remember now). My sister went through it all and folded it up so it would fit better in less bags. I only paid £2 for the lot so really pleased and can't wait to have a look.

We are taking her down to my Dad's then coming home then we are all going over to him on the Saturday for lunch.

I did a couple of reviews for C this morning, both were new product suggestions, one has been added so should get the 50p added tomorrow for that one. I have lots more things to review as we have been buying lots of bits for the garden this last week or so.
