Evening everyone, its been another sunny day here today so spent most of it out in the garden. I managed to get my points done on SB early, put a review on DY and did a couple of surveys and thats about it. Been busy all day outside as the weather is supposed to cool down a bit tomorrow and wont be so nice.

Right then Ladies and Gents - I'm back to kick @ss!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

First thing to say is can you post your bingo names and ask for referrals on the referral thread please??? It's not allowed on this thread.

It looks like it's been really quiet on here, so hopefully now things will pick up a bit. Sorry for going AWOL - a mixture of things were getting me down and I couldn't manage everything at once, but I'm back now and hope to get back to normal asap. :)

As I didn't post a challenge last month, I'm here to post this one early. ;) I've had a few requests so I'll go along with everyone's suggestions, and I'll try and come up with something exciting next month (May) :D

    Right, here goes.

    April 2012 Challenge

    1. Ebay Let's go ebay crazy and beat the postal increases. People might be put off by the higher charges if we leave it till next month so let's have a spring clean and clear the clutter NOW.

    2. Reviews. Challenge yourself to write a certain number of reviews. We don't know what the promotions are until tomorrow, but try and aim for quality (E's and crowns) and not quantity. That way we don't burn ourselves out, but will still earn as much for our efforts. :)

    3. Survey Challenge I think most of us have lost the mojo for surveys this month. Let's get back into it with a £2.50 a day challenge. If by the evening you haven't earned your £2.50 you need to put a £1 in your Christmas savings pot (or put £1 away to buy a savings stamp for Asda or whatever).

    4. Get your referral links out there! Post them on the referrers board/Facebook/make a blog - anything where people can see them and use them. It's easy money that takes very little time and effort to earn so get to it!!! :)

I'm sorry I've been away and hope you've managed ok. I look forward to catching up on all your news, and I'm really hoping that we can motivate each other to get back into money making mode. Woohoo.

Anybody know when the next free listing weekend is on eBay?

    Welcome back elysia :D

Well since feb I've not really done anything but this month I plan on making as much as possible... Me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 years in July and arre planning on going away so want to put a little extra towards that and birthdays etc so I'm going to try my hardest this month. I've put a few bits on eBay but really want to wait for free listing weekend as I've got loads of stuff to stick on there. I want to try and get rid of some books and clothes too. Then surveys I've only been doing them now and again so need to do them properly everytime I get a email and check the sites too at least once a day. I also plan on doing some extra work for somebody I know childminding witch is a little extra money as I'm still having alot of time off work due to my anxiety and depression and oh thinks I'm gonna be sacked soon but it's not like I can help it. I also need to cancel my lovefilm and get some stuff sorted for carboots :) so lots to do let's see if I actually get any of it done though!!!
    Good luck eeveryone

Kayandy - We won't know about free listing weekends until the Friday before. I would get it all ready anyway and list some every week. That way you could always put extra on when there is a free listing w/e, but also it's not all at once, and you'll be able to cope with it better.

Sorry to hear you're off work atm. Surely being off sick isn't enough for them to sack you, they wouldn't be able to do that - but they don't need an excuse the way things are at the moment. :(

I'm glad you're up for the challenge - Together we can do it. :D

ETA: Saying goodnight now - off to watch Take me out, and then the voice on catch up. ;) See you all tomorrow. :)

Lovely to see you back Elysia.

I'm definitely up for the ebay challenge, the pile of stuff is taking over my dining room. Don't forget you can schedule stuff to start in advance, and as long as you manually start the auction before the scheduled time, it doesn't cost you the 6p. That way you can put stuff on when you feel like it, then start the auction at a different time ;) Hope that makes sense !

Thanks Mum2one. Belated happy birthday wishes. Sorry Miss Hoodie is poorly, I hope she feels better soon.

Skiergirl - Thanks Hun. It's good to be back. Any news about your Knee? Do you need an op (or have I missed it)?

How you you get around the fees for the scheduled start? Do you list them with a delay but just go into my ebay and start them early? That's handy to know. Thanks :)

Come on then - where is everyone?

I hope you're all out enjoying the sunshine though. We don't see sunshine often enough. ;) We've just got in from taking DD2 to Kenilworth Castle. OH is a postman so can get into English Heritage places for free, and we took a picnic so we've had a lovely day out without paying a penny :D

ETA: Good afternoon Rufus. I hope you've had a lovely weekend. :)

    :)

Hi, the consultant decided I don't need an op at the mo, but will review me again this month.

When you're doing a listing, you can schedule the auction to start a while in advance (can't remember how far in advance it goes.If you do it for the furthest away date, it will 'charge' you 6p. But if you then go back and edit the listing, and click start immediately, it doesn't charge the 6p iyswim ?
eg I put some stuff on tomorrow to start the following monday, but on saturday I go and edit each item to start the auction 'immediately'. That way I don't get charged, but am not in a huge rush to put everything on at once ;)
