is it wrong to pay to asda shopping on your debit card just so you can put the £4 in your purse into your £1 tub??

ohhhhh spotted today in Homebargains the small terramundi pots of dreams in pink with various girls names on (didn't see boys sorry) for 99p!!! they were all boxed (names on bottom) luckily mine was the 3rd one i picked up as i wasn't going thro em all!!!

I really want to join in on this. I will be transfering my money into a saving acc every month. Tomorrow when hubbie gets paid i will transfer money for jan and feb so il be all caught up with every one else!

I am in on the £2 savers challenge already , however have only managed to receive one £2 coin So this thread will help more with my saving , as I accumulate £1 coins alot more

However I think I may do it slightly different if you don't mind !?!
Going to put all in a sealed pots { One for change & one for £1 coins to add to my £2 's )- As like many others if its in a savings account I will spend when I see it showing up .
So I will place any £1 lying around down the sofa etc in the pot , and when any payments hit my bank account I will add anything that is not rounded off to £0 or £5 -

For example if I was to get £32.50 - I would add £2.50 to the pots etc .

I will do the same whilst shopping online or instore with change if I use a note and there is £2 or less change . In the pot it goes !!

I have some catching up to do - so will empty the junk drawer to start me off

You all seem to be doing well and we should all be able to treat ourselfs this year
