I am also attempting to save up £1 increment tokens on Mr T £50 savings card x 2!! ( due to losing Card 1 with £10 on it!!) with the theory that I will use them instead to pay for shopping and enjoy a percieved sense of control with a probably delusory sense of saving. * I have to remind myself I am now a Waitrose Girl * ( hides behind defences) and that I need to work out how to get certain core items at Asda, Aldi? etc so I make further reductions on my shopping (most needed!) but aim for the kill on waitrose killer items. (delicous fresh stocks, frozen herb and spice range, sourdough bread!)

Husband has set up a DD to transfer a £1 a day to our savings account. Most things to do with moneysavingexpert.com he does not approve of, other than this challenge and Millie style cookies.
What I had in my saving pot I have added to my sealed pot and will run the two challenges together.

Im on target at £8 - feels very strange to not be able to get to it (is a sealed tin - need a can opener to get to it). Made it to about 3 months last year but then ended up spending it on school dinners and things so this year cannot get into it! OH is also doing his own.
