Barclaycard 24 mths 0% card

I'm looking at applying for a Barclaycard which has a 24 month 0% deal. Does anyone know if they they do a cash transfer to bank acounts, or is just straight forward balance transfers between credit cards? I can't seem to see the answer in their terms and conditions, but maybe I've missed it.......

Also, I'm currently living outside the UK but will return within the next 4 months. Is is possible to apply for a credit card when I'm technically not living in the UK at the moment?

  • No and No. Let's hope the offer is still open when you return.

There are ways of getting cash into your account from a credit card, but they are definitely not free. Travellers cheques is one way, and Paypal is another.

They do offer money in bank, however they are very restrictive offers.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

In so much as they aren't offered by default - so you wouldn't be able to get a cash transfer at 0% for 24 months, although once you've been a cardholder with them for a while they might give you one as a special existing customer deal, although they are few and far between with Barclaycard.

But are you living abroad and looking to transfer cash to your bank account?
If not it is not relevant to OP.
