    Doesn't cause overheating, but does cause over pressurisation when flat. If the vessel is flat, then there is nothing to 'absorb' the increase in water volume created when the system water is heated.

    So the overheating was caused by the Christmas Elves turning up the dial on the boiler?!?! Or was Pimento just thinking they were hotter than 'normal' (been sipping Santa's sherry a bit early ;-)
