Travel Insurance "Primary Destination Country"

I'm trying to buy travel insurance, but I'm going to Japan and Canada and it will only let me pick one country. So I picked Japan because that's where I'll be spending the most time, but are the insurers then likely to try and get out of paying if I happen to have an injury in Canada? Or even in the American airport I have to fly through?

Yes IMO so phone them up and speak to them PRIOR to purchasing.I would be more worried about the fact that you seem to have booked a holiday for some future date but have no insurance in place. What happens if something goes wrong before you travel?0

I dunno. What happens? I'm insuring against an expensive stay in a foreign hospital that I can't afford, not losing a deposit on a hotel I've already paid for.
It's okay, I got insured by Atlas Insurance instead. They let you add as many countries as you want. I'm guessing it's not the best day to be phoning up insurers about things.0 -
