Welcome PPI compensation Awarded however....

Hi,
I'm new to the forums so hope I'm in the right place.
I have been successful in my miss-sold PPI claim against Welcome via the FSCS. The amount I was owed was more than my remaining balance so as expected there was an offset applied and this was deducted leaving a couple of hundred pounds left to be paid to me. :T
I point out the account was in arrears via my wife hiding the debt and an attachment of earning had been applied to my wages.
The debt according to Welcome is now settled however the attachment of earnings is still in force and has taken a further 3 payments since the PPI supposedly paid off the balance.
I have contacted the Northampton County Court for advice only to be informed that there is still the balance applied as though the PPI had not paid anything off.
I am very confused as the Welcome balance on my experian credit file is also showing as satisfied with no balance outstanding. I have asked for a statement from Welcome which was supposed to be here within 10 working days. However, 12 working days have now passed and still nothing. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It's as though the full PPI settlement was awarded to Welcome AND they are still charging me for the settled debt.:(

Give FSCS a ring and they may tell you what to do regarding this,Welcome are useless, you need the overpayments back that you have paid.
You may recieve a statement from Welcome,it may be delayed due to the xmas period, give them a couple more days and then ring them, tell them if you dont get the payments back that they have taken, you will take this to FOS.
