    No 'fishy' smell coming from the switch. I've tried to get a neon light on the shower unit itself without any prevail. Most business's will probably now be closed until the 3rd. I can totally now understand why people get so stressed when major appliances/essentials break at times like this.

    If you say its tripping the electrics then the shower heater has more likely than not developed a fault
