I need to buy a new shower pump for my shower. My current one is 1.5 bars, but I need a 2 bar shower pump.
Which one is the best? And how easy is it to install? Is it something I can do or should I hire a plumber?

if you have one there already itll be a case of just swapping it. Ive been looking at grundfos 3 bar and stuart turner 3 bar. I want it to blow my stones off when i get in it.....0

Tool Station do Salamander pumps at a very reasonable prices. I install a good number of them every year and have always found them reliable.
Installation is quite easy but you have to be able to stop the water from the tank (usually in the loft) and the hot water tank. In many cases the HW tank will have a gate valve (the circular knob type) which will turn the supply off. The cold water may have a valve or you can turn the mains supply off and then open the bath and sink taps to drain it. You wont drain it by opening the kitchen tap as this should be mains fed.
Remember to have a bucket and towels ready when disconnecting the old pump, as there will be some residual water even after draining or stopping the water supply. This will save you about £70-£100 if you are confident at doing DIY.
Good luck.0
