I presume you got the Welcome bonus and topcashback altogether totally £180. and not sure if cancellation charges still apply in your case.
The future of bill format as recommended by OFGEM will be like the Co-op tariff shown, and if you go to Ebico then could lose out.
Anyway I still plump for an ethical company, Eb or Co-op.
I switch orf the gas in summer, so no pilot light to pay.
I would seriously like to know how you do it. 5235kw is pretty good.
My heating goes off at 8am and comes on 6pm so although retired still as if at work.
I go to work 5 days a week so the heating is only on for about 3 to 4 hours in the evening. I have it set at 18'.
At weekends the heating is on for about 5 hours throughout each day.
I do not have the heating on over night, I have an electric blanket which warms my bed up and a heavy winter quilt to keep the heat in.
I do have a new heater, Ideal Logic 24, which is 91% efficient. My house, 3 bed terrace, warms up pretty quickly. Plus in the 2 bedrooms I do not use the radiators are switched off. I use the pre heat function on the boiler to heat the hot water.
I have no magic way of using a small amount of gas, I just use common sense.
So to sum up, you would pick either ebico or co-op as a provider even though you can claim cashback by using topcashback?0 -
It's the no morning use doing it and your efficient boiler.Similar use otherwise except for an additional electric blanket for the sofa.
Yes to Ebico.0 -
See you are using Switchwithwhich - Your Elec is very low as is the Gas by not by such a big margin. Try entering your Gas & Elec readings as individual enquires with a view to buying your Elec from Ebico and your Gas from someone else0
