I downloaded the free version Adobe reader 8.0 onto my windows xp system and have had nothing but problems i.e computer constantly rebooting. My norton systemworks picks up that the followinf file is missing
"C:\ Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe"cannot acess necessary file," msvcp 80.dll"
Anybody got any advice? do I need to reinstall? do I get systemworks to ignore missing file ?
Being driven mad!!!
thanks

Or if you must have Acrobat go back to a previous version:

I agree with Zagu. Foxit is small and fast and does the job perfectly well.0
