Comets extra care service (or lack of)

I would like to make people aware about Comets poor after care service I have received. I had an extra cover warranty for my I Touch. This was picked up for repair on 18 Nov. In 5 weeks I have not received a single call to advise the position. It has taken 5 weeks of myself chasing various call centres (being transferred to numerous different departments who all said it was someone elses problem). I eventually went to the store (where staff were helpful but their hands were tied),I have not received a single call back when promised. After me making numerous calls I was eventually promised on Tues 21 Dec that a replacement would be delivered on Fri 23 Dec. After staying in all day (as I could not be given a timeslot) it was not delivered and no phone calls to advise this. After spending another 40minutes this morning calling Comet and Parcel Force I have managed to find out that my item is in Coventry and will not be delivered today (never mind yesterday). This is very poor service and would completely put me off taking any addiitonal warranty cover or using Comet again. I would hope that this is a one off case and that I have been extremely unlucky but I doubt it.

It isn't. Their aftersales are appalling, numerous other posts on here will testify to that. Its unfortunate you had to find out the hard way though.
