Mine was as well, well one of them was , i`ve emailed them to ask is there any reason they`ve sent me a smashed mug ? :D
  • I reckon the mug probably holds a pint. Perfect for people that can drink that much hot drink quickly or people who don't mind cold tea or coffee.

I think it's crap and am tempted to smash it up and leave this unsolicited piece of crap on the floor outside a SD shop.

As I said - not even worth 10p at my local car boot!
  • Can't believe people are moaning about the mug! Its a bonus, not like you'd paid for it, therefore if you get one its a bonus and if you don't, tough luck.

Obviously they wont intentionally send a smashed mug so its clearly broken in the post - nevermind it was free anyway!

And if you dont want it then just give it to someone else or throw it in the bin, its no big deal... rant over haha!

Who isn't just a little bit gutted if they get something through the post and it's broken, regardless of whether it's free or not! I can see why people are having a little grumble, and there's no harm in that! ;);)

I read over on HUKD about someone who ordered a mug to have it arrive badly packaged and broken... alongside a very well packaged and fully intact free SD mug. Gotta laugh!!!

I love my mug, the whole family does. I don't even drink hot drinks so it's not it's only use. It's quite handy for holding a large amount of juice so there is no need to rush or allow anything to go cold.

I'd have bought the mugs for 10p at the carboot had I seen them. Haha

Sports direct have emailed me to say that they're sending my order again. I already received 3 separate orders. Yes got three separate mugs. Will be interesting to see if I get the order (despite having paid only once) AND another 3 mugs lol.

Sometimes I can't tell if people are being sarcastic or not! You and your whole family, "love your mug"!

I tend to just use mugs for hot drinks as I have a collection of glasses that I prefer to drink cold drinks from.

I think I am going to write "No refunds" in permanent marker and then superglue to the floor outside my local SD

IMO the recent £1 delivered sale was just them buying positive feedback. Under 99% for a national chain is not a good score.

Glad you like your mug though!
  • My 2 orders arrived today, a mug with each of them, they are huge!:D
