Inflation is definitely going to be near 3%. so another IR rise is very likely. I think ppl rushed to buy house now in fear that it will keep increasing.
Personally, I think inflation will likely to go higher as the economic is doing very well.0 -

Reasoning ? One big hit early could do exactly what they need for inflation stop people spending, after all they can always revise it in June or later but a quick hit now may be easier that many increases chasing a tail wind in a head wind.
Oh well that was me thinking to logical, think we will see at least 3 more increases of 0.25% before the end of 2007, seems the BOE would rather fire fight than fire prevent.If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
