Hi all
I have had various loans over the past 6 years with natwest, all of which i know i have had PPI. I popped into the branch today and asked for details of these loans and they asked me to submit my enquiry in writing.
I know there are a lot of tempelate letters out there, but what is the best one to send? the loans are all paid off now.
Thanks for any help
Chris

Hi there
I assume they mean a Subject Access Request (SAR), this they should enclose all accounts you have taken out with them, if you bank with them, you just write your bank account number, and they will enclose all data of all you taken out with them, no harm in writing each account number to be sure if you want to.
You enclose the one off payment of £10 this covers all, and they have 40 calendar days to comply.
There is a full sar letter template below if you wish to do this.

Please be aware though, if you have the account numbers and as you know you were sold ppi, and you have your reasons for being mis sold, you can still make a reclaim on the loan ppi without the paperwork.
To make a reclaim a questionnaire issued by the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) replaced template letters for reclaming, you will find in the above section of how to make a reclaim of PPI, or you can directly get this from the FOS website, download etc, or even ring them and ask them to send you one, and tell them you require a reclaim questionnaire as you wish to make a reclaim against a business and they should send this in the post (if you do not have the facilities to download/print etc.
Complete the questionnaire, send to the head office or complaints dept of the bank, keep copies as well.
If the mis selling reasons were the same, one questionnaire should be sufficient, but still make it clear of the loan account numbers for each one, but otherwise complete separate forms, good luck.
