Interesting being such an open question.
I bet Groupon are scratching their heads at why they rank so high when they only seem to provide great discounts (in my experience at least, maybe people get messed around or are just fed up with the avalanche of emails).
BT and British Gas obviously get hate because of their terrible mixed up customer service, but Tesco aren't far behind and I can only assume that people have voted for them for the same reasons as me: they abuse and bully their suppliers, have low quality food produce, flaunt planning laws and bully local councils, waste tax payers money and destroy (pro-actively) small businesses and high streets by unfair not-legal practices and generally lie about everything (imho)!

A company can fix its customer service system but complaints won't stop evil soul-less megalomaniac lizards from willingly attempting to destroy humanity in their pursuit for personal gain :)

When I was with Green Flag, I broke down 2 mins from their head office in Pudsey, Leeds. It took them 3 hours to get to me as they didn't know where I was!

There needs to be more on that list, much more. (At least 5 more anyway!)

I can't grumble too much about the companies listed; of the ones I recall dealing with:
    1. Groupon send too much spam, but I've got spam filters.
    2. I'm a Sky customer and they seem to be a pretty good company to me.
    3. I'm no longer a customer of BT.
    4. The last time I bought something at Argos I had a word with a manager to say how helpful the assistant who had just dealt with me had been.
    5. Thee queues in Poundland seem to be huge all the time.

There has previously been a poll on bank customers service, I think that is why none of them are included.
If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

If you do like it please hit the thanks button.

    Ryanair isn't a company, it's a virus.

    May contain nuts

The first one has got to be SKY, possibly the worst customer service I had EVER had, you wait ages on the phone to speak to someone and then you get hit by the hard sales patter.

EON/Powergen are the second and third worst companies I have ever dealt with. They don't know the meaning of customer service.

B & Q, do they know what an EPOS system is for? Always out of stock of the thing I need, and can never find a member of staff when you need one, oh and they are very overpriced.

My Doctors surgery, you can never get through, you are kept waiting and waiting on the line and then when you do, the appointments are booked up for that day (this is at 8.15 in the morning) and no bookable appointments are available for the next two weeks! Useless.
