More disappointed than a rant really though:
- ordered discounted DAB radio for in store pick up yesterday (Thursday 23rd Dec)
- order cancelled as no stock available
- item now showing in stock today
I'm quite upset as I thought it was going to be such a great present for my 93 year old granny this Christmas. She quite often retires to bed to recoup her energy & has this crackly old analogue radio that you can't really hear anything on. Really thought I'd come up with a good idea to get a DAB radio for her to keep her company whilst alone in her room.
I know it's all down to stock levels & that they designate a number of units to be sold at the discounted price, but it still comes across as quite cynical. I would even pay full price for it if I could get it in time but my local M&S is only a tiny one & doesn't stock electricals.
I feel that I've let my old granny down and am absolutely distraught
