How did they get your family members address? Unless yours and their address is very similar...

    This story is interesting.

Delivering to your next door neighbour i can understand. Delivering to the chap down the street i can understand. it's happened to me.

But delivering TEN miles away, not just to any old randome joe but a family member of yours TEN MILES away?

    Bit strange isn't it.

Yodel have had a parcel in the back of their van for 2 days (out for delivery) and they still haven't attempted delivery!

  • So you're complaining because a delivery driver was proactive and gave it to a family member instead of taking it back to the depot, to sit around for a week?

Yep, you wanted it delivering to your house but it sounds like he's got too much on to make all his deliveries (he's not Santa) in time. So when your relative mentioned it, the two of them decided to leave it with them so the driver would have been trying to help.

Littlewoods are using yodel now and I have to say that my parcels are taking longer to come. Once I waited in all day for a parcel only for it to come at 9:30pm. I wouldn't mind but do they expect you to wait in from 7am until 9.30pm? It was much easier when it was just home delivery network.

Yodel is home delivery network...the HDNL drivers were re-branded to Yodel - same with the DHL at Home service which was sold to HDNL and integrated under the Yodel brand.

The merging changed the volume of freight they handle, it seems though that the handling of the merger from a Customer Services perspective was horrific.
