Towergate buildings insurance

If anyone can help in anyway I would appreciate it so much as I am still no further forward and this company not contacting me
I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on this one.
Part of my garage wall blew over in the 70+ mph storm a few weeks ago and we called to claim on ouar insurance.
To cut a very long story short Towergate say they sent contractors out to look at damage even though they never contacted us or knocked our door to gain access to the garage. They say they have photos of our garage which we have not seen and which Towergate say we don't need to see and don't need to know the name of the contractors or their phone number. They say it is wear and tear as they have looked at photos and don't need to see damage to inside of garage where rain has come in. They were extremely rude and when I questioned the reasons why they couldn't tell me what the contractors were going to fix or why they didn't knock the door to gain access to the garage they said I was not to interrupt them and they did not have to explain themselves any further to me and said they were terminating the call ...and hung up. They refuse to discuss the claim and we are now left in limbo with a garage leaking water, and no one to contact regarding this.
We pay by direct debit so they still get their payment but we cant speak to anyone re the claim.
Any advice would be good as we are at a loss as to what we can do.
