I love using washing liquid all in one jobby - the small and mighty ones and they cost me about £5 ish for 25-30 washes. Thinking I could save me some money by using an alternative method! What would be the cheapest? I am guessing good old fashioned powder?

There are some really good liquids in the 99p shops that last for about 20 washes (they are the same size as the £3 persil bottles. We have been using various fragranced ones now for a while and have not noticed any difference from using main brand, even at 30 degrees.

I've just reverted to powder - costco does a tub of their own brand that works out to 3p per wash, vs 17p per wash for tablets.

I have started using bold (the commercial 2 in 1 liquid) from Costco- lasted ages and no complaints - half the price of the equivalent at Tesco

If you had a British Airways (BA) flight or holiday disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, check if you've got an old voucher as millions of pounds' worth are still unclaimed.
