Vauxhall combo faulty seat
I bought a six month old vauxhall combo van with a network q warranty.Over the last few weeks the drivers seat feels as if the spring or metal support wire is cutting through the padding/foam on the right hand side and you feel the metal below the cloth
Have been reading the warranty small print of exclusions and although it mentions interior cloth carpets handles etc will it cover this fault in the seat which i could understand if the van was years old but its only 9 months old (2 months by me and 8000 miles)
Or will they try and fob me off with the interior trim excuse

This is classed as trim, and is normally covered for 12 months - shouldn't have problems with warranty as long as there are no signs of 'abuse'0

trim is excluded but is that the cloth on the seat or the seat in general including all the bits and pieces attached to it
From the small print Exclusions
vi. All bodywork, handles and hinges, interior/exterior trim, brightwork, paint, glass, weather-strips, rubber seals, sheet metal, sun roof panels, carpets, seat belts, wiper arms/blades, wheels and tyres, wheel alignment/balancing, adjustments.0 -
just an update on this it has been repaired twice first time they replaced the foam inside the seat base and the spring/support wire cut back through the foam in a couple of months
picked up this morning after second repair and the foam feels as if its the wrong size because the cloth is loose and is not attached to the foam apart from round the edges
question is should i let them try one more time to fix this or demand a brand new seat base0
