Looks like another country to me.The driver appears to head for the n/s of the van when returning to it and the trees by the road don't look native to the UK.0

Yes, it's in the US.
It's been doing the rounds.
Fed-Ex were not amused and, according to one report, you can be pretty sure that this driver isn't working for them any more. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
He's probably playing pro basketball now with that arm.0

I'm not sure who delivers Very packages, but they threw a parcel for my neighbour with clothing in over the back fence. It landed in my garden and it was in a muddy puddle when I found it. Neighbour wasn't impressed with the state of it when I took it round. Here I go again on my own....0

I've had a littlewoods delivery left next to the wall of my house, no porch or anything so it would be easily viewed from the street, it's a wonder it didn't get nicked.0

Yodel (on behalf of Amazon) 'delivered' a parcel on behalf of my neighbour who wasn't in, so the driver chucked it over my 6ft high double gates.
I took it round to my neighbour when I found it who was really concerned as it was a digital photo frame - guess what? It was broken and had to be sent back:(Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
I was a parcel delivery driver for various companies from 1979 until 2005. It isn't the easiest of jobs especially for temporary workers unfamiliar with a route or during inclement weather. On routes close to a depot you might have up to 300 parcels to deliver each day, but there is NO excuse for what is portrayed in the FedEx 'over the fence' video.
BUT......as we all order more over the internet, we as consumers could make the job of the parcel courier easier by following a few basic rules:
1) If you aren't usually at home during the day, give the delivery address of a friend, relative or neighbour who is likely to be at home or maybe your work address if this is practical.
2) If you have a house name as well as a number......USE BOTH for the delivery address. It is dangerous and time-consuming looking for house names as you drive slowly along roads, especially if it is a busy main road. If your road only has names, please make sure the sign is prominent and clearly VISIBLE from the road. Using just your house name on the address when you also have a number is NOT clever. Use the fullest address possible including full postcode to give the courier the best chance to successfully locate it quickly.

We had a delivery of a not so cheap box of wine from Laithwaites around this time last year. Driver dumped it on the doorstep and walked off. Didn't even knock to see if we were in. I only knew about it because I happened to see him walk back towards his van from my window.
Needless to say we haven't ordered from them since!0
