If it didn't flag to an assistant and didn't come up on the screen then you've done nothing wrong in my book, it was an honest mistake, you put it through the tills, how were you meant to know it would cancel it?

OMG! What a day . Been out since 8am and I am still not home.

South wales people. I've been out looking for the telescopes and tried p0ntypool, risc4, aberti11ery, 3bbw vale and M3rthyr and p0ntypridd and none to be found at ajl until I went in aberdar3 and at last I found 3!! I couldn't believe it. I'm sorry but they were the last the been looking for these for 12.50 all week but they were marked up as £50!!

I'm not bragging but just want you all to know the stores that had none so you won't have a wasted journey.

I'm exhausted now after looking for these all day but have 3 VERY happy children

Hia can you tell me where in store 'how cool is this items' are, are they all together, spread about and stickered or on the seasonal aisle. My hubby would so luuuvv the binoculars and before I charge off out driving around, it would be good to know where to look. Also was this in an Extra store. Thanks so much in advance.

I would do this, if it's really bothering you and sitting in your conscience then go back and explain, I have accidentally shoplifted on SS tills before now when I've thought something has scanned and it hasn't, so I've gone back in and explained, it happened once on one of those very light summery tops, it never went through and I didn't notice, the tag never went off either, I went to return it as I didn't like it anyway and when checking the receipt it had never gone through!

I could have just kept the free top and cut the tag off but I gave it back, explaining what had happened as it didn't sit right with me, you've got to go by your own conscience and obviously this is really bothering you xx

i dont know, i took it off the main board

although looking at other posts about the "how cool is this" range, it looks like they are mainly in the seasonal reduction aisle.

might not be much help but in my extra store they were with all the reduced xmas stock (wrapping papers ets)
