I have just seen this puzzle. Couldn't figure it out so looked at the answer and I STILL can't figure it out???
Get ready:
How Old Are They?
If Fred and Sue total their ages, the answer is 49.
Fred is twice as old as Sue was when Fred was as old as Sue is now.
How old are Fred and Sue?
OK Guys
Spoiler alert
This is easy to work out if you think it through.
Fred is twice as old as Sue (it's worded confusingly but he's twice as old as Sue).
So in total you have to divide the age by 3, however 49 isn't evenly divisible by 3 so.....
Multiply 49 years by 12 months, that gives us 588 months. Divide this by 3 that gives us 196 months exactly. Divide this by 12 that gives us 16.3333 or 16 years and 4 months.
So Sue is 16 years and 4 months old and Fred is 32 years and 8 months old, total 49 years.

Hi all,
can anyone help me with a paypal problem.
I have an account and have had for a few years and all I had to do to validate it was enter the sums of money they had deposited into little boxes to confirm it was my account. They accepted my mobile number too no problem.
Now I'm trying to help my landlord sort one out for himself but it didnt validate. Turns out there was an error in the card number or something. Now they won't accept mobile numbers and are posting out a code or something. Also his new card is waiting for a code to be put on it and they also seem to want photo id (which he doesn't have...no passport and still has old green driving licence).
Is all this normal?? Is there a way of not supplying photo id as I didn't have to!0 -

I helped a friend set up a Paypal account about a year ago and she gave her house number and they text a code to it for her to validate the account. I recently changed my password (forgot old one) and they also sent a code via text to validate my account. HTHBorn to glitch0 -

I don't think that is the right answer. Because it was he was twice as old as her in the past, not he is twice as old as her now.
I might be wrong though.... and I'm off out now, so no more time to work it out!0 -
Now if you want something to REALLY make your head hurt?
It's broadly agreed upon that space is still expanding and as a result galaxies are moving apart (you will get galaxies close to each other moving towards each other...but on a cosmic scale galaxies are moving apart).
Anything that attracts galaxies would therefore be unusual and perhaps more importantly it's likely that those galaxies being attracted would/should be accelerating towards whatever is attracting them (so a HUGE black hole would pull galaxies towards them but as they get closer to the black hole they should move faster towards it).
So what's this then
